DuoPlus proxy setup
Connect a DuoPlus cloud phone to a VoidMob carrier exit from its Network section: a Custom Proxy pointing at a sticky pay-per-GB proxy list or a dedicated 4G/5G device, with location, time zone, language and SIM simulated from that IP.
Proxy lists from $3.99 per GB, dedicated devices from $49 a month.
SOCKS5 works too, on the device's own SOCKS5 port
Issued per device on its proxy page
Check shows Proxy IP connection test passed with the exit IP, region, time zone and coordinates it read.
Add a VoidMob proxy to DuoPlus
In DuoPlus: Cloud Phone list, Configure Proxy, then the Network section.
Get the credentials
For a pay-per-GB package, add one proxy list per cloud phone under Proxy Lists on the order page and set its rotation to Sticky. A dedicated 4G/5G device lists its own host, port, login and rotation link on its proxy page.
Open the phone's Network section
Right after you buy a phone, DuoPlus opens the proxy configuration page on its own; otherwise click Configure Proxy in the Cloud Phone list. Under Network, set Proxy Type to Custom Proxy.
Enter or paste the proxy
Switch the protocol dropdown from Socks5 to HTTP, then enter proxy.voidmob.com, port 10000 and the list's username and password, or paste the whole line into IP or Domain and let DuoPlus split it. SOCKS5 uses the port from your credentials.
Check, then set the simulation
Click Check and read the IP, region and time zone it reports. In Simulation Settings, leave Location, Time Zone and Language on Based on IP so the phone takes them from the carrier exit, then finish the configuration.
Power on in the right country
Start the phone with Power On in the Cloud Phone list. Compare the region from Check with the country of the account you will sign in to, and pick a list or device in that country if they differ.
Settings that follow the IP
Leave these on the values below and DuoPlus describes the same place the exit IP does.
- Location
- Based on IP
- DuoPlus sets the phone's GPS coordinates from the proxy's location, the same longitude and latitude its check reports.
- Time Zone
- Based on IP
- Time zone has its own switch since DuoPlus split it from language, and Based on IP takes the zone read from the exit.
- Language
- Based on IP
- The system language follows the exit country, so an Italian exit opens apps in Italian unless you choose Customize.
- SIM
- On
- DuoPlus generates a simulated SIM, with base station details, for the proxy's country. It has no working number until you bind a cloud number.
- Network Mode
- Mobile Network
- DuoPlus offers Wi-Fi or Mobile Network. The exit is a carrier 4G/5G connection, so Mobile Network keeps the phone's details consistent with its IP.
Proxy list or dedicated device
Both work in DuoPlus. The difference is who else shares the exit and how it rotates.
| Compare | Proxy list | Dedicated device |
|---|---|---|
| Price | From $3.99 per GB | From $49 a month |
| What you get | A proxy list per profile, all on one GB balance | One 4G/5G device no other customer exits through |
| Rotation | The list setting: per request, sticky or a timer | On demand: rotation link, API or a timer you set |
| Change-IP field | Not used | Rotate from the dashboard or API |
| Traffic | Billed per GB | Unmetered |
| Fits | Many profiles, light or read-only work | Profiles that carry the business |
When DuoPlus and the proxy disagree
Check passes, but the phone has no network once it starts
DuoPlus's troubleshooting ties this to DNS resolution through the proxy, which Proxy DNS turns on by default
Open the phone's three-dot menu, choose Modify settings and turn Proxy DNS off. DuoPlus notes this can leak DNS outside the proxy and affect the simulation, so keep it as a fallback.
Connection test failed on a proxy list that works on your own computer
The protocol and port disagree (SOCKS5 pointed at port 10000), or the list authenticates by IP whitelist, which would have to allow DuoPlus's Singapore and Hong Kong servers
Use HTTP on port 10000, or SOCKS5 on the port from your credentials, and give the list a username and password rather than a whitelist.
Run the checkTwo cloud phones report the same IP, or change it together
They share one proxy list or device, while DuoPlus recommends a unique proxy IP for each cloud phone
Create a sticky list per phone, or a dedicated device for each phone that holds an account you cannot lose. The Related Cloud Phone field on the Proxies page shows which phones sit on each proxy.
A signup code never appears on the phone
The SIM DuoPlus generates is simulated, so it cannot send or receive SMS
Bind a DuoPlus cloud number in the phone's simulation settings on an Android 12 (Region A) or Android 15 phone, or receive the code on a separate non-VoIP number and type it in.
Run DuoPlus on real mobile IPs
Pools from $3.99/GB, or a dedicated device for 1 to 30 days.
