Tinder treats the phone number as the account identifier. Signup sends a one-time code by SMS, and every later login on a new device sends another code to the same number. Match the number tier to how long you need access. A single verification on a profile you will stay logged into can run on a one-time OTP. Anything you expect to log back into, hand to a partner, or recover after a device change belongs on a rental or a dedicated line, because a released number cannot receive the next login code. If the account is also opened through a proxy, keep the IP stable and geographically consistent with the number's country: a US number arriving alongside a European exit IP is the kind of mismatch that triggers extra verification.
