Keep the same Yahoo number every month

Yahoo ties each account to one number and can ask for a new code after a device change. A number that stays yours keeps the account reachable.

  • Assigned only to you, never shared or recycled
  • Unlimited verifications across most platforms
  • Same number for re-logins, new devices and recovery
  • One flat monthly price, cancel any time

Requirements

What Yahoo requires from a number

Non-VoIP required
Yes. VoIP ranges are rejected or limited.
Number reuse
One account per number. Use a fresh number for each account.

Yahoo texts a code to the mobile number you enter at signup. It can later use that number for sign-in codes and account recovery. Every VoidMob number is a non-VoIP carrier number. Treat the number as tied to one Yahoo account and keep it for as long as you keep the account.

The number is half the signal

Yahoo checks the connection alongside the number. A mobile proxy keeps every signup and login on a real carrier IP, so the account you verify here looks consistent from day one.

AI agents

An agent can handle Yahoo verification

Once you create an API key and fund the balance, an AI agent can rent the Yahoo number when you say yes, poll for the message and read the parsed code through VoidMob's open-source MCP server. Works with Claude Code, Codex and other local MCP clients.

Why it works

Verifying Yahoo with a real carrier number

Yahoo verifies a phone number at signup, texting a code to the mobile number you enter, and later can send sign-in and recovery codes to that same number. The number becomes part of how you get back into the account, so pick one you will still control months from now.

For a signup code alone, a one-time OTP on a US number is enough, and it cannot be refunded once a code is delivered. A multi-day rental holds the same US number for days. For an account you keep, the dedicated monthly line is priced per country.

A one-time OTP number is yours only for its 15-minute window, so a second Yahoo code inside it still reaches you, but later sign-in and recovery codes stop once it closes. If you move off a number, replace the recovery phone in Yahoo's Account Security settings first.
