Keep the same Discord number every month

Discord ties each account to one number and can ask for a new code after a device change. A number that stays yours keeps the account reachable.

  • Assigned only to you, never shared or recycled
  • Unlimited verifications across most platforms
  • Same number for re-logins, new devices and recovery
  • One flat monthly price, cancel any time

Requirements

What Discord requires from a number

Non-VoIP required
Yes. VoIP ranges are rejected or limited.
Number reuse
One account per number. Use a fresh number for each account.

Discord binds a phone number to one account at a time. Removing the number frees it, but re-binding the same number across accounts is a pattern Discord tracks, and VoIP or shortcode ranges are rejected outright.

AI agents

An agent can handle Discord verification

An AI agent can rent the Discord number, poll for the incoming message and read the parsed code through VoidMob's open-source MCP server, with no dashboard round trip. Works with Claude, Cursor and any MCP client.

Why it works

Verifying Discord with a real carrier number

Discord asks for a phone number in three situations: when it flags a new registration, when a server owner enables phone verification as a join requirement, and when you enable SMS as a second factor. In all three the check is the same underneath. Discord looks at the number's carrier record, and numbers that resolve to VoIP or messaging-app ranges get refused before the code is ever sent. A carrier-issued mobile number passes; a softphone number does not, no matter how the app presents it.

VoidMob offers three ways to get that number. One-time OTP delivers a US carrier number for a single Discord code, from $0.15, with an automatic refund if no code arrives. Multi-day rentals hold a US number for 3, 7, 14 or 30 days, which is what you want when Discord re-verifies during the first days of an account or when you need to receive a recovery code later. The dedicated monthly non-VoIP line is the option available per country, including the United States at $19.99 and the United Kingdom at $16.99 per month, and it stays yours for as long as you keep it.

The number is only half of the signal. Discord also reads the IP that submits the code and the IP that logs in afterwards. A code received on a US carrier number and entered from a datacenter IP in another region is a mismatch, and mismatches are the most common reason a freshly verified account gets challenged again. Pair the number with a mobile IP on the same continent, keep the session sticky through signup and the first logins, and check the IP type and timezone alignment before you start rather than after the first flag.
