After you pay

  1. Pay from your balance

Top it up in crypto first. A deposit credits once the network confirms, usually within 20 minutes.

  2. Get the QR code

It appears in your dashboard with the manual activation code as soon as the order completes.

  3. Install, then land

Scan it on Wi-Fi. The eSIM installs once, on one device, and validity counts from activation.

Plans are non-refundable once bought, unless the eSIM fails to activate. Refund policy

Know your IP before you pay

Every eSIM connects you in Armenia, but plans differ on where your internet traffic exits, and that exit is the location websites see. Most providers hide it. We print it on every plan.

About this destination

What to expect in Armenia

The Armenia plans connect to two networks, Viva (the former VivaCell-MTS and the largest operator) and Ucom, both listed for 5G, and your phone uses whichever it reaches. Viva lit Armenia's first 5G in central Yerevan in April 2023 and switched on a standalone 5G+ network in July 2026.

Ucom went the other way, starting 5G in regional cities such as Gyumri, Dilijan and Tsaghkadzor in November 2024 and reaching Yerevan in June 2025. By November 2025 it covered 48 cities and over 94% of the population, plus the Yerevan to Dilijan highway.

DataReportal's 2026 report puts Armenia's median mobile download at 66.66 Mbps, up 104% in the year to August 2025. Every Armenia plan exits in the United Kingdom, so Armenian sites see a British address; the global plans that cover Armenia add a Hong Kong exit.

FAQ

Armenia eSIM questions

Is VivaCell-MTS the same network as Viva?
Yes. The brand ran as VivaCell-MTS from 2008, then Viva-MTS, and since 2024 simply Viva, with the company renamed Viva Armenia. It is one of the two networks on these plans, alongside Ucom.
What happened to Beeline, and is Team on this eSIM?
Telecom Armenia bought the Beeline business from VEON and retired the brand on May 1, 2022; it now trades as Team. Team is not on the Armenia plans, which list only Ucom and Viva.
I'm heading to Tbilisi through Bagratashen. What happens to my data?
Ucom lists the Bagratashen checkpoint among its 5G sites, but an Armenia plan only connects to Armenian networks, so it stops once you are across in Sadakhlo, Georgia. Add a Georgia eSIM for that leg.
Why not pick up a Ucom or Viva eSIM in Yerevan?
You can if you want a local +374 number, but both operators issue their own eSIMs in person: Ucom and Viva each ask you to visit a service centre with your passport. This plan carries data only, is bought online with no ID check, and installs from a QR code before you fly.
Does 5G reach Dilijan, Jermuk and Lake Sevan?
Ucom switched on 5G in Dilijan in early November 2024 and in the towns of Sevan and Jermuk later that month. On the roads and in villages between towns, the line can fall back to 4G.
Is there any plan that exits inside Armenia?
No. Every Armenia plan exits in the United Kingdom, and the global plans that cover the country add Hong Kong, so Armenian banks and government portals see a foreign address whichever you pick. The table prints each plan's exit before you pay.
Do I need ID to buy this eSIM, and how do I pay?
No ID or KYC: sign in with a crypto wallet or an email address and pay from a crypto balance. A deposit credits once the network confirms it, usually within 20 minutes, and the eSIM QR code is issued when the order completes.
