After you pay

  1. Pay from your balance

Top it up in crypto first. A deposit credits once the network confirms, usually within 20 minutes.

  2. Get the QR code

It appears in your dashboard with the manual activation code as soon as the order completes.

  3. Install, then land

Scan it on Wi-Fi. The eSIM installs once, on one device, and validity counts from activation.

Plans are non-refundable once bought, unless the eSIM fails to activate. Refund policy

Transparent Routing

Know your IP before you pay

Every eSIM connects you in Egypt, but plans differ on where your internet traffic exits, and that exit is the location websites see. Most providers hide it. We print it on every plan.

EU exit · 4G

Your traffic exits in EU, so websites see an EU IP.

About this destination

What to expect in Egypt

Egypt has four mobile networks: Vodafone, the largest, plus Orange, e& (still widely called Etisalat) and WE from Telecom Egypt. This eSIM connects to e&, Orange and Vodafone. All four launched 5G at an event by the Giza pyramids on June 4, 2025, and some of our Egypt plans are sold as 5G.

Nearly 19 million visitors came in 2025, and Cairo, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam were the busiest arrival airports. The Grand Egyptian Museum, fully open since November 1, 2025, stands about two kilometres from the pyramids.

The Egypt plans exit through the United Kingdom or the EU, so websites see a European address.

FAQ

Egypt eSIM questions

Is this an Etisalat (e&) eSIM for Egypt?
Not in the sense of an e& subscription. The Egypt plans use e&'s towers alongside Orange and Vodafone, as a travel data line. e& Egypt issues its own eSIM to e& customers through the My e& app or its stores, and that one comes with an Egyptian number.
Does the Egypt eSIM get 5G?
Some plans are sold as 5G, and the table marks them. Egypt's four operators launched 5G together on June 4, 2025; away from 5G cells the line falls back to 4G, which handles maps and messaging comfortably.
Will I get an Egyptian IP address?
No. The Egypt plans exit through the United Kingdom or the EU, so websites and apps see a European address. That suits home banking and streaming; a service that insists on an Egyptian connection will treat you as abroad.
Can one eSIM cover Egypt and Jordan?
The Egypt plans work only in Egypt. Middle East bundle plans each cover their own set of countries, so for a trip that adds Petra or a Gulf stopover, pick one that names Jordan or that Gulf state and stay on one profile.
Is WE from Telecom Egypt one of the networks?
No. The Egypt plans connect to e&, Orange and Vodafone; WE, the mobile brand of state-owned Telecom Egypt, is the fourth network and is not on the carrier list. Telecom Egypt does own 45% of Vodafone Egypt, the country's largest operator.
Do I need ID to buy this eSIM, and how do I pay?
No ID or KYC: sign in with a crypto wallet or an email address and pay from a crypto balance. A deposit credits once the network confirms it, usually within 20 minutes, and the eSIM QR code is issued when the order completes.
