Transparent Routing

Know your IP before you pay

Every eSIM connects you in Morocco, but plans differ on where your internet traffic exits, and that exit is the location websites see. Most providers hide it. We print it on every plan.

Belgium exit · 5G

Your traffic exits in Belgium, so websites see a Belgium IP on 5G.

About this destination

What to expect in Morocco

Morocco's three networks are nearly level, with Orange, inwi and Maroc Telecom (IAM) each holding 18 to 20 million lines. Each of our plans pairs two of the three networks. All three operators switched on 5G together on November 7, 2025, and our 5G plans reach it through Orange.

5G reached about 38% of Moroccans by the end of 2025, mostly in the big cities, against a licence target of 85% by 2030. Outside those cities, expect the line to run on 4G, which still handles maps, messaging and video calls.

The Morocco plans exit through Belgium, the United Kingdom or Ireland, so websites see a European address. The Africa bundle adds a Singapore exit.

FAQ

Morocco eSIM questions

Maroc Telecom or Orange: which one will I be on?
It depends on the plan and the signal. Each plan pairs two of Orange, Maroc Telecom (IAM) and inwi, and the phone joins whichever it reaches, with 5G coming from Orange while inwi and Maroc Telecom are listed on 4G/LTE. The table shows each plan's technology before you buy.
Is 5G available on the Morocco eSIM?
On some plans. Morocco's operators launched 5G on November 7, 2025, and Orange started in 135 provinces and prefectures. Where there is no 5G signal, the line falls back to 4G.
Why does the exit say Belgium?
Morocco traffic on these plans exits in Belgium, the United Kingdom or Ireland, and each plan shows its exit before you buy. Sites see a Belgian, British or Irish address rather than a Moroccan one, handy for European banking apps.
Which plan suits a week in Marrakech?
Maps through the medina, messaging and photo uploads use little, so a smaller Morocco plan usually covers a city week. Video calls and sharing data with a laptop are what push you up a size.
Is Orange Morocco's network wide enough for the south?
Orange reports more than 4,000 radio sites covering over 99% of Morocco's population. Population coverage is not land coverage, though, so empty desert and high mountain stretches can still be quiet.
Do I need ID to buy this eSIM, and how do I pay?
No ID or KYC: sign in with a crypto wallet or an email address and pay from a crypto balance. A deposit credits once the network confirms it, usually within 20 minutes, and the eSIM QR code is issued when the order completes.
