Network character

What to expect in Egypt

Egypt has four mobile operators: Vodafone, the largest, plus Orange, e&, and WE from Telecom Egypt, which also owns 45% of Vodafone. Our Egyptian pool is led by Vodafone, with Orange second and WE and e& smaller. Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria lead, with Tanta, Mansoura, and Hurghada behind.

5G went live in June 2025, with Vodafone and Orange launching first. Median mobile download speed more than doubled in a year, to about 56 Mbps in late 2025.

Shopping runs through Amazon.eg, noon, Temu, and Jumia, while Dubizzle, which replaced the OLX name in 2022, carries cars and property. Android runs about 88% of Egyptian phones.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about mobile proxies in Egypt.

What is an Egypt proxy on a mobile network?
It sends your traffic out through an Egyptian carrier's 4G/5G connection, so sites see a Vodafone, Orange, WE, or e& address in Egypt. Unlike a datacenter Egypt proxy, the IP belongs to a network that Egyptian phones use every day.
Which Egyptian carrier should I use?
Vodafone gives the most room to rotate, since it leads our Egyptian pool, and Orange is second. WE and e& have fewer devices, so choose them when a check has to run on one of those networks.
Can I target Cairo, Giza, or Alexandria?
Yes. Cairo and Giza are the deepest, followed by Alexandria, Nasr City, Tanta, and Mansoura, with Hurghada and New Cairo also covered. City filters matter most for classifieds and delivery fees, which depend on location.
What do Egyptian users see on Google?
Google handles about 98% of mobile searches in Egypt (StatCounter, August 2026), with Bing near 1%. An Egyptian mobile proxy returns the local results, ads, and map listings for Cairo or Alexandria rather than the international ones.
How is the mobile IP figure on this page counted?
It is the number of rotating mobile IPs our pool reaches here over a month, from our own network data and rounded down: a measure of depth rather than a fixed inventory.
How do I connect, and can I keep one IP for a whole session?
Use the standard HTTP or SOCKS5 credentials in any antidetect browser, scraper, or script, and choose per-request rotation, a timed interval, or a sticky session that holds one IP; activation is instant, with no KYC.
