Kameleo proxy setup
Add a VoidMob mobile proxy to a Kameleo profile by switching its Proxy row to With Proxy: a sticky proxy list per profile on the pay-per-GB plan, or a dedicated 4G/5G device you rotate while the profile is stopped.
Proxy lists from $3.99 per GB, dedicated devices from $49 a month.
SOCKS5 works too, on the device's own SOCKS5 port
Issued per device on its proxy page
Test Proxy connects through the proxy to Google, Archive.org or Wikipedia, trying the next site if one fails, without starting the profile.
Add a VoidMob proxy to Kameleo
In Kameleo: Profile creation or editing, the Proxy row, then With Proxy.
Get the credentials
On a pay-per-GB package, add a proxy list for each Kameleo profile under Proxy Lists on the order page and choose Sticky rotation. A dedicated device lists its host, port and login on its proxy page, next to its rotation link.
Switch the Proxy row
While creating or editing a profile, find the Proxy row, which starts on Without Proxy, and click With Proxy. The row opens into protocol buttons, a host box with the port beside it, and optional username and password boxes.
Pick HTTP and enter the list
Click HTTP, then enter proxy.voidmob.com, port 10000 and the list's username and password, or paste the list's username:[email protected]:10000 line. Look at the protocol button after a paste, since Kameleo guesses the type from the port.
Run Test Proxy
Click Test Proxy before saving and read each step it reports. Kameleo's developer docs say it tests the proxy again before every launch and does not start the browser when that test fails, so a bad line shows up here first.
Set Language, then start
Pick the profile Language for the exit's country: Kameleo sets WebRTC, Timezone and Geolocation from the external IP, but Language is your own pick, and its recommended settings say to match it to the proxy's country. Then click Save & Start and check the exit from inside the browser.
Settings that follow the IP
Leave these on the values below and Kameleo describes the same place the exit IP does.
- Timezone
- Automatic (recommended)
- With a proxy set, Kameleo matches the time zone to the proxy's location. Manual has to stay inside the proxy's region, by Kameleo's own rule.
- Geolocation
- Automatic (recommended)
- Kameleo fills the coordinates from the proxy data. Block denies the Geolocation API outright, which Kameleo warns can look suspicious.
- WebRTC
- Automatic (recommended)
- Kameleo sets the WebRTC IP values from the proxy. Its developer guide notes WebRTC can still leak over non-proxied UDP, which the disable_non_proxied_udp preference on Chroma closes.
- Language
- The exit country's
- Language is a manual pick on the main form. Kameleo's advice is to match it to the proxy's country, so a UK exit gets English (United Kingdom).
Proxy list or dedicated device
Both work in Kameleo. The difference is who else shares the exit and how it rotates.
| Compare | Proxy list | Dedicated device |
|---|---|---|
| Price | From $3.99 per GB | From $49 a month |
| What you get | A proxy list per profile, all on one GB balance | One 4G/5G device no other customer exits through |
| Rotation | The list setting: per request, sticky or a timer | On demand: rotation link, API or a timer you set |
| Change-IP field | Not used | Rotate from the dashboard or API |
| Traffic | Billed per GB | Unmetered |
| Fits | Many profiles, light or read-only work | Profiles that carry the business |
When Kameleo and the proxy disagree
Pages break or ask you to sign in again after a rotation
The device was rotated while the profile was running, and Kameleo says a mid-session IP change can cause network anomalies and is not supported
Stop the profile, rotate the device from its rotation link or the dashboard, give it a moment to come back on the new IP, then run Test Proxy and start the profile.
A pasted line connects with the wrong protocol
Kameleo detects the proxy type from port conventions when it parses a pasted string, and the guess can miss on an uncommon port
After pasting, click HTTP for port 10000, or SOCKS5 if you pasted the SOCKS5 port from your credentials, then run Test Proxy again.
Run the checkTest Proxy marks the IPv6 step as failed
Kameleo's developer docs say a partial success commonly means the proxy has no IPv6 route, and they treat it as usable but degraded
Carry on when the IPv4, website and location steps pass. Read the location line against the account's country before saving the profile.
Sites load in the wrong language for the exit
Kameleo sets timezone, geolocation and WebRTC from the proxy on Automatic, but Language is a manual pick that is not among the settings it takes from the IP
Set Language to the exit's country, or use a proxy list created for the country whose language the profile already uses.
Run the check
Run Kameleo on real mobile IPs
Pools from $3.99/GB, or a dedicated device for 1 to 30 days.
