Three networks serve the Philippines: Globe, Smart (PLDT) and DITO, which launched in 2021. This eSIM connects to Globe, the most-subscribed of the three with 63.1 million customers in late 2025; some plans add Smart. Our plans are sold as 5G, and Globe claims near-total 5G population coverage in Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao City.
Over about 7,641 islands, signal follows Globe's towers, so a boat crossing or a remote beach can drop to 4G or to nothing. Data exits in Singapore or the UK, never the Philippines, so local sites see a foreign address.
