Why mobile IPs work on Facebook
Facebook is one of the harder platforms to hold an account on because Meta has decades of behavioral history per profile and treats the network as one signal among many. A carrier IP is not a disguise: it is the absence of a red flag. What actually keeps a profile stable is consistency, meaning the same exit, the same timezone, the same browser profile and the same rough activity pattern week after week. Dedicated 4G/5G devices exist for exactly that job, since the IP stays yours until you rotate it and the carrier NAT block behind it is shared with ordinary subscribers.
The two workloads people bring here need opposite configurations. Logged-in work, meaning Business Manager access, page and group administration, ad accounts and Marketplace selling, wants a dedicated device with rotation off and a small number of profiles bound to it. Public data collection, meaning Ad Library research, competitor creative tracking and Marketplace price monitoring, wants a pay-per-GB pool with per-request or short-interval rotation and no login at all. Mixing them, for example running a seller account through a rotating pool, produces the session drops and checkpoints most people blame on the proxy provider.
Before you attribute a restriction to your IP, check the cheaper explanations. A WebRTC candidate leaking your home ISP, a browser timezone that contradicts the exit country, or two profiles sharing one canvas fingerprint will all defeat a perfectly good mobile IP.
