Network character

What to expect in Romania

Romania went from four mobile networks to three in 2025, when Vodafone and Digi split Telekom Romania Mobile: Vodafone took postpaid customers, Digi prepaid ones and most spectrum. Digi leads our Romanian pool, Orange is a close second and Vodafone third. Bucharest leads, then Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara.

eMAG, the most-visited shopping site in August 2026, says more than half its orders come through its app. OLX and Publi24 carry the classifieds, and Trendyol and Temu complete the top five.

Romania is an Android market: Android ran on about 81% of mobile page views in August 2026, iOS on about 19%. Google handles about 97% of searches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about mobile proxies in Romania.

What happened to Telekom Romania's mobile network?
OTE sold it to Vodafone and Digi, and the deal completed on 30 September 2025. Vodafone took postpaid and business customers and most of the infrastructure, Digi the prepaid customers and most of the spectrum. Some IPs in our pool still carry the old Telekom Romania label.
Can I rent a dedicated Romanian mobile proxy?
Yes. A dedicated Romanian device is one carrier connection used only by you, with unlimited bandwidth and the IP rotated when you ask. It suits long monitoring or QA sessions; the price is shown at the top of this page.
Digi, Orange, or Vodafone: how does the pool split?
Digi and Orange together make up most of our Romanian pool, in nearly equal parts, and Vodafone is third. Digi has competed on price since launching mobile service in 2007, and it took over Telekom's prepaid customers in 2025.
Which Romanian cities are covered?
Bucharest is the deepest, followed by Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, and Constanța, with smaller numbers in Ploiești, Iași, Brașov, and Botoșani. Pick a city when results depend on local stock or delivery; otherwise target the country.
How is the mobile IP figure on this page counted?
It is the number of rotating mobile IPs our pool reaches here over a month, from our own network data and rounded down: a measure of depth rather than a fixed inventory.
How do I connect, and can I keep one IP for a whole session?
Use the standard HTTP or SOCKS5 credentials in any antidetect browser, scraper, or script, and choose per-request rotation, a timed interval, or a sticky session that holds one IP; activation is instant, with no KYC.
