What to expect in Taiwan

Taiwan went from five mobile networks to three in December 2023, when Taiwan Star merged into Taiwan Mobile and Asia Pacific Telecom into FarEasTone, beside Chunghwa Telecom. Our Taiwanese pool spans all three in comparable shares, deepest in Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung, and New Taipei.

Taiwan is an iPhone market, with iOS on about 60% of phones, and Yahoo! still takes about 12% of searches to Google's 79%. LINE is the default messenger, with about 22 million monthly users, roughly 93% of the population.

Since November 2024, anti-fraud rules have required Google, YouTube, LINE, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to verify advertisers and disclose ad information in Taiwan. Shopee, momo, and 7-Eleven's online store are the most visited shopping sites.

Common workflows

Ad disclosure and placement checks

Shopee and momo price monitoring

Track prices and promotions on Shopee Taiwan, momo, and 7-Eleven's online store from Taipei or Kaohsiung carrier IPs, as local shoppers see them.

Google and Yahoo! search checks

Compare Google and Yahoo! results, shopping listings, and ads on the same query as a Taiwanese mobile user in Taipei, Taichung, or Tainan sees them.

Food delivery menu tracking

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about mobile proxies in Taiwan.

What happened to Asia Pacific Telecom and Taiwan Star?
Both merged into larger rivals in December 2023: Taiwan Star into Taiwan Mobile on 1 December and Asia Pacific Telecom into FarEasTone on 15 December. Former APT SIM cards stopped working on 1 April 2026, so every Taiwanese exit sits on Chunghwa, FarEasTone, or Taiwan Mobile.
Which Taiwanese carrier should I pick?
All three networks carry comparable shares of our Taiwanese pool, so each has room to rotate. Chunghwa Telecom is the largest operator and launched Taiwan's first 5G network in June 2020; use more than one network when you want checks spread across operators.
Which Taiwanese cities do the mobile proxies cover?
Taipei is deepest, followed by Kaohsiung, Taichung, New Taipei, Taoyuan, and Tainan, with fewer devices in Hsinchu and Zhongli. City targeting matters most for delivery and local search checks; country level is enough for most price monitoring.
Is Yahoo! still used for search in Taiwan?
Yes. StatCounter put Yahoo! at about 12% of Taiwanese searches in August 2026, against 79% for Google and 9% for Bing. Search and ad checks for Taiwan should cover both Google and Yahoo!.
How is the mobile IP figure on this page counted?
It is the number of rotating mobile IPs our pool reaches here over a month, from our own network data and rounded down: a measure of depth rather than a fixed inventory.
How do I connect, and can I keep one IP for a whole session?
Use the standard HTTP or SOCKS5 credentials in any antidetect browser, scraper, or script, and choose per-request rotation, a timed interval, or a sticky session that holds one IP; activation is instant, with no KYC.
