Network character

What to expect in Greece

Greece has three mobile networks. The largest, Cosmote, became Telekom on 8 September 2026, and phones now show TELEKOM.GR as the network name. Our Greek pool is led by Telekom, with Nova second and Vodafone a smaller share. Athens holds the most devices, Thessaloniki and Patras fewer.

Shopping starts with comparison. Skroutz, founded in 2005 as a price-comparison site and now a marketplace with its own lockers, was the most-visited Greek shopping site in August 2026, with BestPrice, another comparison site, second.

Short-term rentals are capped. No new registration numbers are issued in central Athens' first three municipal districts through 2026, a similar rule has covered central Thessaloniki since March 2026, and a registration there no longer passes to a new owner.

Common workflows

Skroutz and BestPrice price tracking

Track prices, shop rankings, and delivery options on Skroutz and BestPrice from Greek carrier IPs, as Athens or Thessaloniki shoppers see them.

Athens and Thessaloniki rental data

Collect rental listings and nightly rates for central Athens and Thessaloniki on rotating Telekom, Nova, and Vodafone IPs, with the city set per market.

Greek Google and ad checks

Google handles about 96% of Greek searches, so check Greek-language results, shopping ads, and landing pages as a mobile user in Athens, Thessaloniki, or Patras sees them.

Android-first app QA

Test sign-up and checkout in your own app on Telekom, Nova, and Vodafone connections. Android runs on about 71% of Greek mobile page views, iOS on about 29%.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about mobile proxies in Greece.

What is a Greece mobile proxy used for?
It sends your traffic through a phone on a Greek carrier, so websites see a Greek mobile visitor. Buyers use Greek mobile proxies for Skroutz and BestPrice price checks, Greek search and ad checks, rental listing data, and testing their own apps.
Is Cosmote still available after the Telekom rebrand?
Yes, it is the same network under a new name. Cosmote became Telekom on 8 September 2026, and IP databases still label much of it Cosmote. Either way, it carries the largest share of our Greek pool.
Should I start on Telekom, or on Nova or Vodafone?
Start with Telekom: it is Greece's largest operator, with about 7 million subscriptions in early 2026, and the largest part of our Greek pool. Nova and Vodafone are there when a test or account must run on a specific network.
Which Greek cities can I target?
Athens and the wider Attica region are the deepest, followed by Thessaloniki in Central Macedonia and Patras in West Greece. Other towns have few devices, if any, so check the live list before narrowing.
How is the mobile IP figure on this page counted?
It is the number of rotating mobile IPs our pool reaches here over a month, from our own network data and rounded down: a measure of depth rather than a fixed inventory.
How do I connect, and can I keep one IP for a whole session?
Use the standard HTTP or SOCKS5 credentials in any antidetect browser, scraper, or script, and choose per-request rotation, a timed interval, or a sticky session that holds one IP; activation is instant, with no KYC.
